Economics Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) - Units 3 and 4*

Our Economics Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are written by experienced VCE teachers, who are also VCE Exam Assessors. These tasks are available exclusively to schools and are available in electronic or hardcopy format. A variety of tasks are available for both Unit 3 and Unit 4.

Students are not permitted to order these tasks.

The Economics Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are offered to schools copyright free for the restricted use of students of that school only.

TSSM's Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are designed to address the key assessment areas of the Economics Study Design. These tasks provide schools with a valuable resource with which to adequately assess the coursework components of Units 3 and 4 Economics. All tasks are supplied with full solutions and response guides.

Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) for Economics have been prepared for both Units 3 and 4. The following packages are available to schools:

Unit 3 Package includes 10 tasks -

Outcome 1 for Area of Study 1 (Two options, 4 tasks included):

1. Set of 3 folio of applied economic exercises
2. Test (multiple choice and structured questions)

Outcome 2 for Area of Study 2 (Two options, 2 tasks included):

1. Test (multiple choice and structured questions) on the purpose of economic activity
2. Test (multiple choice and structured questions) on the domestic economic goals

Outcome 3 for Area of Study 3  (Two options, 2 tasks included):

1. Test (multiple choice and structured questions) on Australia and the international economy
2. Set of 3 folio of applied economic exercises
    

Unit 4 Package includes 4 tasks -

Outcome 1 for Area of Study 1 (Two options included):

1. Test on monetary policy (multiple choice and structured questions)
2. Problem solving exercises on budgetary policy

Outcome 2 for Area of Study 2 (Two options included):

1. Test on aggregate supply policies (multiple choice and structured questions)
2. Test on budgetary, immigration, trade and environmental policies and aggregate supply

These tasks provide teachers with a degree of flexibility when setting assessment tasks for their students. While TSSM thoroughly checks the accuracy and relevance of these Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET), prior to assessing students, it is the individual school's responsibility to ensure that these are an appropriate form of assessment.

*Unit 3 Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) will be released on February 6, 2025 and Unit 4 will be released on May 29, 2025. Orders made in advance are welcome.
