Specialist Mathematics Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) - Units 3 and 4*
Our Specialist Mathematics Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are written by experienced VCE teachers, who are also VCE Exam Assessors. These tasks are available exclusively to schools and are available in electronic or hardcopy format. A variety of tasks are available for both Unit 3 and Unit 4.
Students are not permitted to order these tasks.
The Specialist Mathematics Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are offered to schools copyright free for the restricted use of students of that school only.
TSSM's Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are designed to target key areas of the Specialist Maths Curriculum, providing schools with an invaluable resource for assessing the coursework component outlined in the VCAA Study Design for Specialist Mathematics. All tasks are supplied with full solutions.
Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) for Specialist Mathematics have been prepared for both Unit 3 and 4. The following packages are available to schools:
Unit 3 Package includes 3 tasks -

Unit 4 Package includes 4 tasks -
Four Modelling or problem-solving tasks (Outcomes 1,2 and 3):

Modelling or problem-solving task on vectors, cartesian equations and vector calculus

Modelling or problem-solving task on data analysis, probability and statistics
These packages are provided to schools giving teachers a degree of flexibility in the assessment tasks they set for their students. While TSSM thoroughly checks the accuracy and relevance of these Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET), prior to assessing students, it is the individual school's responsibility to ensure that these are an appropriate form of assessment.
*Unit 3 Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) will be released on February 6, 2025 and Unit 4 will be released on May 29, 2025. Orders made in advance are welcome.
