Role at TSSM:


Kristen has been a key member of the TSSM team since 2020.

Kristen has a depth of experience in both Economics and Legal Studies, with a special interest in developing excellent VCE resources in both subjects that are used by teachers and students alike.

Kristen has taught Economics since 2012 at a number of schools and tertiary institutions, giving her a depth of experience with a variety of different students. Kirsten is also a trained legal practitioner, giving her an advantage when teaching Legal Studies. She is able to bring real world experiences to the class room when teaching both subjects.

Kristen is also a spectacular teacher who enjoys helping students achieve a deeper understanding of the subject matter, ensuring that they are fully prepared for their VCE examinations in both Economics and Legal Studies.


Teaching Philosophy:

Kristen is passionate about helping students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as these will assist them in whichever pathways they choose to follow for future education and work. Subjects such as Economics and Legal Studies are excellent vehicles for developing these skills and Kristen encourages students to see the connections between their learning and real life. Kristen believes education is crucial for individuals to achieve personal goals and fulfilment, but also essential for a productive and democratic society.
